Experience

Nicole M. Durio, CPA is a proven leader in the consulting industry. She has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, advisory services, business consulting, CFO services, internal and external auditing, leadership development, and management training. She has a breadth of knowledge in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, merger integration, financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, and effective treasury management. Nicole can also lead the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of control systems.

Nicole has served as the interim Controller and/or Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for various organizations with annual revenue up to $500.0 million. The organizations served include healthcare companies, organizations in the transportation industry, companies in the business services industry, oilfield services companies and multiple start-ups. Mrs. Durio’s interim CFO experience has allowed her the opportunity to oversee the financial accounting and reporting, treasury, risk management and information technology functions. She has demonstrated an ability to enhance revenues, improve cash flow and profitability, perform needs assessments and gap analyses.

Mrs. Durio also has specialized due diligence experience in conducting both buy-side and sell-side transactions, including the preparation of information memorandums, target evaluation, deal flow management and transaction negotiation. She has worked on more than 300 transactions with purchase price valuations up to $40.0 billion.

Nicole also has cross-border transactional experience in Canada, China, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Finally, Nicole is an Independently Certified Speaker, Coach and Teacher with the John Maxwell Team. With this esteemed leadership certification, Mrs. Durio can offer workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, executive coaching, leadership development, and management training, while aiding the personal and professional growth through the implementation and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods.
